Custom and Standard Panels . . . no panel is too small or too large for us

Standard-sized prefabricated Rittal, Hoffman, or equal enclosures are supplied when appropriate to meet the system design. Prefabricated fiber-reinforced polyester (FRP) enclosures can also be supplied. Where custom enclosures are desired, we will efficiently produce custom stainless steel or power-coated metal enclosures in-house in your choice of colors and to your schedule. Whether your application is a simple NEMA 12 enclosure for a PLC, a custom drive enclosure, or a complex design/build panel, no panel is too small or too large for us. UL-Certified Design and Manufacturing for your Safety

Why trust your panels to any run-of-the-mill panel shop? If your inspectors are not there to watch the work being performed, how can you be assured of the quality you will receive? Champion Controls designs and builds its panels to meet stringent UL safety requirements. Your electricians can rest assured when they work on one of our control panels that it’s been designed with their safety in mind. In accordance with UL, the NEC, and as applicable, we ensure that the entire panel and all its components inside meet a Short Circuit Current Rating (SCCR) and that the panel is appropriately labeled with the SCCR. In addition, full load running current (FLA) calculations are performed as required to ensure that the extent of the electrocution hazard is clearly identified to those that may work on the panel once installed in your facility. We are UL certified for industrial control panels for normal and hazardous locations in the USA and Canada.

Once your order is in and processed, we begin the task of converting it into a control Panel. We create a reasonable lead time that fits within your project life cycle and meets your delivery schedule. A new job order is added to our database and is updated periodically with your design plans, component requests, and specifications.

Generate Submittal

A design process allows our team of engineers to figure out the adequate size panel for your project needs. Our Cad software helps us determine if your desired components will suit your choice’s panel.

After we have concluded our findings, an engineering submittal is then presented to you for review and acceptance.

Production

Champion production begins only when all requirements are met. Our team of engineers and manufacturers begins the process of building your panel to your desired specs. Our production includes metal fabrication, Welding, Painting, baking, component installation, and backplate prep.

Wiring

Our wiring process requires that all wire lengths be determined by our application. Generally, this is also the process for determining the color of the wire, the gauge of the wire, and the distance traveled by each wire.

We also include our labeling process in this step as well. labels must be concluded precisely.

Final Assembly

Our final Assembly process includes additional labeling processes for the general Device ID, Terminal blocks, and external door system of the panel. However, making sure that all components are securely installed is the main objective. Punching additional holes is also conducted.

Quality Control

At the end of production. We begin our quality control process. This step is very crucial as it helps us to ensure that the final product has met all the customer requirement postproduction. We inspect each panel for defects and design imperfections.

Shipping

After our QC process gets completed, we prepare the equipment and Drawings for shipment. We begin photo documentary. This is essential as it gives the customer the opportunity to see what would be shipped, and also gives us a visual after field installation.
